Album of the week

This week is hardcore week.
So what’s on the memory card this week? The Swedish answer to Panthera – LOK.

Most of LOK and Martin Westerstrand’s lyrics probably gets lost in translation but there worth listen to anyway. The name of the band, which is an abbreviation for locomotive in Swedish, was chosen as a reference to their music style; “heavy, compromiseless and totally over-running”! Above is “Sug min..” wich roughly translates into “Suck my..” and it pretty much sums it up.. Also worth to mention is Daniel Cordero, wich in my book are the best and heaviest base player Sweden have to offer still today.

The band has stopped playing together since 2002 and lives on in “Lillasyster” formed in 2006.

If you l ike what you hear check the Wiki for more info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LOK or suck my..

Finally we can watch the Watchmen!

Wow.. Finally one of the most innovative comics ever made comes to life on the screen.
Watchmen” is one of three comics that truly defines my youth for me, the other two is “Give me Liberty” and “Batman – The Dark Knight Returns” (Both by the amazing Frank Miller).

Watchmen depicts heroes as real people who must confront ethical and personal issues, who struggle with neuroses and failings, and who—with one notable exception—lack anything immediately recognizable as accepted super powers. – Wikipedia
