Facebook content – optimized for Windows 7 in a “Fishbowl”

Fishbowl is a WPF desktop application that uses the Facebook stream APIs to allow access to Facebook in a clean and impressive UI. Fishbowl also includes Windows 7 only features, including taskbar notifications, jump-lists and taskbar previews. The interface fully supports multi-touch navigation too and image gestures to navigate and view your photos. Fishbowl was created by the UXLabs@Microsoft to showcase the Windows Platform.

Touch support!
Exploring photos might be the best thing, using touch gestures or flip through images with your mouse scroll-wheel. As a Tablet PC user you get full support (like in Win 7 overall).

Fair warning!
Keep in mind, since it’s currently a trial version you won’t get any support

According to Microsoft, Fishbowl will also work on Windows XP and Windows Vista but i havent had the chance to try that yet (in the case of XP i never will lol!). But all of you allready installed windows 7 of course.. or?

It’s available for download by technology enthusiasts and Facebook power users from http://www.fishbowlclient.com/.

Perpetuum – Mech warrior Online

In the not-too-distant future, a strange anomaly opens the gates of the universe for humans. With this new technology energy, information and atomic size objects can be transported to anywhere in space.

The most intriguing of all new discoveries is an Earth-like planet, where humanity discovers a new source of energy, vital to its unbroken advancement. However, this planet is inhabited by a synthetic, robot-like life form. Their technology and resources are the goal of humanity’s new conquest.

Players may take part in various areas of the project. They may fight on the front lines for new territories, develop the already established infrastructure, trade goods or services, or even set their own goals and set up their own coprorations.

Sounds to good to be true right?
Wrong! Closed beta is here, so get ready to duke it out in Perpetuum.

At last! Official Facebook Application For The Nokia E71 & E72

For some reason Nokia decided NOT to announce this news..
The Facebook app. works really nice, and finally support to upload photos to your Facebook account. It’s still the same old infantile comments from the same old people so no help there I’m afraid.

What people really should ask themselves before updating their status is, “Should I go kill myself instead of updating my status on Facebook?” In most cases the answer would be yes..

It should work on all S60v3 devices so check it out from Ovi Store in your E71 or by the link below.

Spotify + Symbian = Symbify or Spotian?

Finally Spotify arrives to Symbian, just in time when I’m about to enter the world of Maemo and N900.. Doh!
Anyway it’s great news and my initial test is overall positive on the Nokia E71. You need a premium account ofc (and a mobile phone.. eh).
Actually i wish they could make more applications like this for Symbian – nice, tidy, fast and easy to use (that kinda says a lot about most applications for Symbian – ugly, sucks ass and hard to use..).

Head over to m.spotify.com with in your phones browser and see if you can run it on yours!

If youre still in doubt, head over to Symbian-Guru.com to check this overwiev out
