Revisiting old friends

Feels like it’s that time of the year comming up. The time where I log on my accounts in old games to confirm i’m rellay done with them. It’s tanking time with all my Blackmoore’s!

 

I was planning on going once again to Vanguard, City of Heroes, Anarchy Online (hopefully after the new graphics engine), LoTRO and Matrix Online.

I wont be doing WOW or SWG for the obvious reasons – I’m so fed up with wow and their community made up by kids and geeks and SWG is just plane old old old.

First out is LoTRO and Anarchy Online this weekend.

On the “new game” note I was hoping to try out Neocron but after having failed (three times) to register an account for a free trial (something wrong with their website) I have launched a support ticket and allready got a bad first impression..

“The computer blues”

No matter what game I log into I just can’t seem to have any fun now (this is what me and my brother refered to as “having the computer blues” when we were kids..

Right now I’m building myself a new PC, going for a SLI system this time with a 3Ghz Dual Core, 2x 8800GT cards and the amazing sum of 8GB ram (yes you heard me kids!) Changing to a Quad as soon as their price drops some.

I aim to use my new rig in Warhammer online to crush my enemies.. (Yes you will prolly see me in Conan to just cuz it’s a Funcom game)

Besides that I mostly use my new Tablet PC T4220. The built in 3G makes it a powerful ally, ok this is no gaming rig, but i spend most of my times working anyway so it’s prefect.

Below, in Japan their selling Vista as toilet paper.. Now this would be cool if it was Linux.. Why? Cuz open source totally sux!
